Diconium is seeking a junior consultant in Germany to help clients tackle strategic challenges across mobility and automotive sectors, combining business insight with technology, data and AI.

You will work in interdisciplinary teams, develop digital business strategies, and contribute to workshops at management level while growing your skills in a dynamic consultancy environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

In our projects, you will support the senior management of renowned clients in tackling strategic challenges in the mobility and automotive sectors right from the start – taking on increasing responsibility and working as part of our interdisciplinary teams – covering everything from digital business models to AI-, data- and software-driven transformation initiatives. At the same time, you’ll gain experience on projects in other sectors and develop solutions that drive digital transformation across a wide range of industries. Your work has a lasting impact on strategic decisions and the direction of entire organisations.

Your role with us

Depending on your professional experience, you will take responsibility for specialist areas, (sub-)projects and the further development of our internal processes and methods. You will analyse markets, customer trends and business models, and use these insights to identify strategic options for action. Together with experienced colleagues, you will develop digital business strategies, innovative solutions and concrete approaches to transformation. You will design challenging workshops and assist with their preparation and delivery at management level. You always keep technology, data and AI in mind: you identify trends, assess potential and use this to develop forward-looking concepts for our clients. You actively contribute to internal initiatives and bring your ideas for new methods, tools or thought leadership to the table.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

Your background

• A degree with above-average grades – ideally with a specialisation in business, engineering or IT.
• 0–2 years’ professional experience or initial relevant practical experience (e.g. through internships in consultancy, corporate strategy, innovation, digital units or the automotive industry).
• A passion for digital topics – and an interest in how technology and business model strategy interact.

Your skills

• A passion for IT, data and AI: You don’t need to be an expert just yet – but you’re keen to understand how data-driven solutions, automation and AI applications create business value.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills: You think in a structured way, work with precision and come up with creative solutions.
• Communication and presentation skills – persuasive and fluent in German and English.
• A willingness to learn, curiosity and the desire to grow in a dynamic consultancy environment.
