We are hiring Associate Sales Operations Analysts to support a team of experts who help Canonical sales teams achieve their business goals. The Sales Operations team drives continuous process and data quality improvement to ensure orders are processed correctly. The successful candidate will be collaborative and demonstrate initiative in improving team workflows, maintaining compliance, and governance.

The role's success is measured by increasing deal velocity and the quality of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data used for key business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver and team player, passionate about partnering with sales teams and supporting our role in bringing open source to a wider audience of innovators and enterprises.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

The role entails:

• Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the sales function globally
• Checking opportunities for accuracy and provisioning orders upon successful deal closure
• Supporting Sales Operations Analysts and Manager to report on and improve sales data quality and processes
• Supporting the sales team globally on CRM and other sales operations systems
• Delivering sales metrics, dashboards, and other analytical tasks
• Assisting with automation and streamlining of the Lead to Order process

• An exceptional academic record from high school and university
• Experience in an entry-level role in sales operations or related fields like financial or sales analysis, preferably in tech
• Energetic, thoughtful, systematic approach focused on scalable outcomes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work productively with stakeholders at all levels globally
• Effective cross-team communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks
