What You'll Do

In this role, you will work as a member of the Research Sciences (RS) department, primarily supporting our work in the UK, Germany, and Japan. This team provides customized real-world data and real-world evidence solutions to address the most important research questions across clinical development, market access, and commercial use cases for our life sciences partners.

In this role, you will:

1. Develop subject matter expertise in real-world oncology data to support data product development and evidence generation.
2. Design and conduct in-depth analyses to assess data quality and fitness-for-use for real-world evidence generation in the international markets.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including epidemiologists, data scientists, and oncologists, to refine methodologies and ensure rigorous study execution.
4. Implement statistical analyses by translating analytic specifications from a statistical analysis plan into R code to generate descriptive and inferential statistics and develop visualizations.
5. Contribute to external scientific publications, including manuscripts and conference abstracts, to advance the field of oncology real-world evidence.
6. Stay current with epidemiological and statistical methodologies for analyzing observational real-world data and deepen expertise in cancer biology, therapies, and outcomes across multiple tumor types.

You are excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. Additionally:

1. You hold a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Policy (or closely related field) with 2 - 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in one of those fields with 4-5 years of relevant professional experience.
2. You have experience working in a pharmaceutical, HEOR consulting, healthcare analytics, or academic research environment.
3. You have experience with observational datasets (e.g., registries, healthcare claims, or electronic health records).
4. You’re proficient at coding in R.
5. You have strong communication skills, with experience contributing to study documentation.
6. You have effective organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills necessary to contribute to multiple high-visibility projects in a timely fashion.
7. You have an agile mindset and adapt quickly to changes in project direction.
8. You are able to quickly learn and apply new information, skills and procedures.
9. You are passionate about our mission to improve healthcare through technology.
