About our client

Our client is one of the leading deeptech venture capital funds in Europe with an impressive portfolio. The fund is highly capitalised with a strong track record and a brilliant reputation in the market. The group is based in the UK, but half of their current fund is deployed across Europe, and they are looking to expand the team with an Associate based on the continent to help drive deals in the region. This role offers high exposure and close support from a collaborative team.

The fund seeks high-potential investors who could become future Partners, investing and supporting talent to achieve this goal.

Given the focus sectors, it is important that you have a deep understanding of, and interest in, the deep-tech space, particularly in areas such as quantum, computing, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. A STEM degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related scientific field is required.

The job involves:

• Deal flow generation and market mapping to identify outlier founders from untapped sources
• Supporting due diligence and deal execution to close deals
• Thematic investment development
• Portfolio management
