  • Join our global team as an Associate (f/m/d) in the Transaction Assurance department to support financial workstreams in large, complex M&A projects worldwide and contribute to Siemens Healthineers’ growth strategy.
  • Our team provides financial due diligence (buy and sell side) and valuation expertise to top management, ensuring financial aspects of transactions are properly addressed. We collaborate globally across various business units, working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • This position offers the possibility, in consultation with your manager, to work remotely within Germany up to 60% of your working hours.
Responsibilities
  • Perform financial due diligence and valuation services, analyzing past and projected performance of target businesses, identifying strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing business plans and profitability calculations.
  • Advise on contract clauses related to purchase price adjustments and closing balance sheet provisions, collaborating with target company management and advisors.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders within Siemens Healthineers to assess impacts and risks on financials.
  • Support management in building and maintaining trusted relationships across departments and global teams to establish the department as a trusted advisor.
  • Utilize digital tools to streamline daily work and promote digitalization within the department.
  • Engage in additional challenging projects within the Assurance team to broaden experience, enhance knowledge, and build your professional network.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Above-average academic record with a university degree (Master’s or PhD) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Several years of professional experience in M&A/Financial Due Diligence (e.g., Big 4), Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking; healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA are advantageous.
  • Experience working in an international environment and with diverse teams, demonstrating intercultural sensitivity.
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an honest, empathetic, and decisive communication style.
  • Curiosity about Siemens Healthineers’ business and a proactive, self-driven approach to work.
