Job Description:

This is what you will do:

The Associate Director Sales Metabolics will be responsible for managing the Key Account Management team, driving sales performance, and ensuring flawless execution within the assigned area. The role includes coaching team members, monitoring sales effectiveness, and implementing marketing initiatives to achieve commercial goals. Additionally, maintaining high scientific knowledge in the therapeutic field and engaging in complex discussions with healthcare professionals about our products and indications are essential.

You will be responsible for:

  • Hiring, developing, and leading a high-performing Hypophosphatasia (HPP) sales team
  • Achieving or exceeding regional sales objectives
  • Coaching and motivating a team of 5 Key Account Managers (KAMs)
  • Contributing to local marketing strategies
  • Developing cross-functional account plans with marketing and educational resources
  • Implementing a multi-channel account management approach
  • Providing feedback and coaching to KAMs
  • Building relationships with physicians and Key Thought Leaders
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service
  • Collaborating with other field functions
  • Mentoring high-potential KAMs
  • Conducting performance reviews and supporting professional development
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and data laws

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field with a strong scientific background
  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Leadership experience and a proven track record in managing sales teams
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Strong business, analytical, and clinical skills
  • Relevant professional licenses and credentials
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to participate in international meetings conducted in English
