We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical Associate Director, Paid Social (m/f/x) to drive the evolution of our Paid Social advertising efforts. This is a high-impact individual contributor role, sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, ad tech, and automation. As a key leader within the team, you will own the global testing and measurement strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making that unlocks new growth opportunities. You will play a critical role in budgeting, infrastructure development, and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure Paid Social operates at peak efficiency.

What you’ll do

As the Associate Director, Paid Social, you will drive key initiatives across four strategic areas:

• Platform Leadership & Innovation
  • Serve as the go-to expert on Paid Social, providing strategic guidance on Meta, TikTok, Snap and other key platforms, with a deep understanding of platform mechanics, auction dynamics, and optimization levers.
  • Anticipate and adapt to platform updates, leveraging industry trends and data insights to drive continuous innovation and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with platform partners to pilot new solutions, enhance measurement capabilities, and improve efficiency.
  • Advise and collaborate with the Paid Social Campaign Ops team, ensuring platform strategies are optimized with best-in-class practices and advanced ad tech solutions.
• Measurement & Testing
  • Lead the testing and measurement strategy across Paid Social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snap etc.)
  • Develop and refine experimentation frameworks, including creative tests, conversion lift tests, and attribution modeling.
  • Analyze test results to inform data-driven decisions and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with analytics and data teams to continuously enhance measurement methodologies.
  • Ensure proper budgeting processes, including daily and weekly pacing, are aligned with strategic goals and seasonality.
• Automation & Infrastructure
  • Ensure Paid Social infrastructure is optimized, working closely with automation teams to implement scalable solutions.
  • Own and develop the automation of reporting for performance tracking and measurement.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure automation efforts align with overall business objectives and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Lead automation efforts for catalog ads, refining workflows and automating processes within platforms like Smartly.
• Tracking
  • Support internal teams in maintaining accurate tracking and performance measurement.
  • Ensure tracking is correctly set up and manage new tracking requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and marketing teams to enhance the tracking infrastructure.

What you’ll bring

• An excellent degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Paid Social, performance marketing, or a related field.
• Proven record of hands-on experience with experimentation, testing, and measurement.
• Proven ability to lead high-impact initiatives and drive measurable results.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable processes that adapt to business needs.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong ownership mentality.
