The candidate will analyze proposals, interpret complex contract language, and coordinate responses with internal stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• University Degree with 12+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Government contracting experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to certain systems.

• Lead, train, and develop a team of contracts professionals and managers.
• Lead negotiation strategy, terms and conditions, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure contract fulfillment complies with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Interpret and flow down requirements.
• Provide regular performance feedback and employee support.
• Develop process improvements to enhance performance.
• Establish relationships with internal and external customers.
• Mentor team members in business judgment, strategic vision, and problem solving.
• Advise senior management on contractual and business issues.
• Analyze RFPs and conduct proposal reviews; coordinate customer responses.
• Draft and interpret contract language; negotiate when terms do not comply with policies.
• Support program management and execution reviews.
• Collaborate on strategic pursuits involving IP and investment strategy.
• Support Military Aftermarket programs through cross-functional collaboration and negotiations.

Lead, train, guide, and develop a team of Contracts professionals and/or managers
Lead negotiation strategy, terms and conditions, contractual and business change management, proposal management, risk mitigation, business management, audit support, and letter writing
Ensure contract fulfillment complies with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Interpret and flow down requirements
Provide regular performance feedback and employee support
Develop process improvements to enhance functional performance
Establish relationships with internal and external customers
Manage financial and operational impacts to the Business Unit
Mentor team members in business judgment, strategic vision, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving
Advise senior management on contractual and business issues
Analyze Requests for Proposals and conduct proposal reviews
Coordinate customer responses
Interpret and draft contract language
Negotiate contracts and communicate or mitigate risks when terms do not comply with company policies
Support program management and execution reviews
Collaborate with General Managers and Business Development on competitive pursuit strategy, intellectual property, and investment strategy
Support Military Aftermarket programs through cross-functional collaboration, negotiation strategy guidance, customer negotiations, and contractual recommendations

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
• Government contracting experience
• U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems
• Experience as a people leader preferred
• Contracts and negotiation experience preferred
