Description
The function is responsible for clinical education, communication, and support of both external and internal customers in the DACH region. The Associate Director Clinical Liaison, Relations & Education supports practicing orthodontists and general dentists in the resolution of case specific clinical issues related to the Invisalign and iTero systems. He/she provides unbiased medical information about the company's products to increase brand awareness and support safe product use among the medical community and customers and reviews promotional advertising for accuracy and completeness of medical information.
This is a hybrid function based in our Cologne-office.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for recruiting, staffing, training, and discipline of clinical specialists to support ongoing clinical needs in a high growth environment within the DACH region.
Ensure adequate coverage & availability of resources.
Supervise & implement scheduling.
Manage a team of clinical specialists and clinical professional relations managers, overseeing professional relations strategy.
Ensure ownership, action to resolution, backup, and contingency within the team.
Propose ideas for team development and the clinical role to promote improved service and education.
Work cross-functionally with other functional managers to drive innovation, customer experience, and achieve business targets based on the regional strategy.
Collaborate cross-functionally on the regional strategy and create functional plans accordingly as well as share the professional relations strategy.
Continuously identify and drive improvement initiatives through people, processes & systems/tools.
Obtain & maintain appropriate knowledge level of employees on products and processes through employee training & development.
Actively participate in the new hire recruitment process as required to maintain organization's resources.
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree.
Typically 8+ years of directly related experience including people management.
Minimum 30% field time, which might be extended based on geography and/or business needs.
