Advisory & Financing Solutions (A&FS) is UniCredit's center of excellence for Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory and Capital Markets transactions in top-level strategic dialogues. Sectors Advisory within A&FS follows an integrated industry and M&A origination and execution approach with in-depth knowledge of Telecommunication/Media/Technology, Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare & Retail as well as Natural Resources, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors for investment banking and corporate clients.

What you'll be doing:

1. Company and market research
2. Drafting of marketing / pitch presentations
3. Performance of company valuations
4. Preparation of marketing materials for Capital market mandates (ECM/M&A etc.)
5. Handling of investor communication in sell-sides
6. Due Diligence, dataroom and overall project management in M&A buy- and sell-sides
7. Respective interaction and communication with other advisors of our clients (e.g. legal, tax etc)
8. Client management in M&A process preparations and actual execution
9. Working with coverage to originate transactions

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years practical M&A execution experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or equivalent
2. Experience in Capital Markets and/or M&A sell-side projects including structuring of Info Memoranda, management presentations, due diligence preparation and organization as well as Q&A management
3. Profound practical valuation expertise including comparable company and transaction analysis as well as DCF
4. Advanced excel modeling skills with respect to operating models
5. Experienced in pitching for and originating M&A mandates based on precise and thoroughly investigated company and market analysis
6. Strong analytical skills and quick grasp
7. Strong oral and written skills in both German and English
8. Team player who is used to work and operate within different team compositions
9. Self-starter who operates independently under respective guidance with the ability to train junior team members
10. Used to assume own responsibilities and aware of respective accountability
11. Strong work ethic and commitment towards client and project work-imposed deadlines
12. Self-dependently managing selected execution workstreams
13. The position requires special knowledge and reliability according to 87 (2) WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and 1a and 6 WpHGMaAnzV.
