Reckitt, known for brands like Dettol, Nurofen, and Finish, is evolving its media approach through the Applied Media Science team. We’re looking for a Associate Digital Media.

Team

You’ll be part of Reckitt’s in-house media team, ‘Applied Media Science’, responsible for global digital media planning and activation. This role focuses on the German market, collaborating closely with internal teams (brand, sales, media, analytics) and external partners (agencies, retailers, platforms) to drive performance and innovation in commerce media.

Purpose

As an Associate Digital Media – eCommerce & ePharmacy, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across Germany’s top ePharmacy and eCommerce platforms. You will directly contribute to driving sales growth and brand visibility by managing media buying activities and performance tracking across relevant digital retail environments.

Tasks & Responsibility

  • Work with the Media Activation & Performance Manager and local Key Account teams to develop and execute media plans tailored to eCommerce and ePharmacy platforms (e.g., Shop Apotheke, DocMorris, Amazon, Aponeo etc.),
  • Drive traffic and sales by booking and managing media placements across the ePharma’s onsite (Search & Display) and offsite (e.g. through Amazon Ads, CitrusAd, eRetail DSPs, and other commerce-focused environments) supporting self care brands’ seasonality and promo plans.
  • Optimize campaigns to maximize KPIs such as ROAS, conversions and CPA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand, sales, content, analytics) to ensure campaign relevance, product availability, and timely execution.
  • Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights and share them in relevant forums to drive business decisions; support post-campaign analysis (PCA).
  • Brief Content Managers and Creative Partners on booked asset requirements and track asset delivery on time.
  • Stay ahead of platform innovations, ad formats and testing opportunities in the commerce media space.

Functional skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital media, with a focus on campaign execution and performance optimization
  • Proven experience in eCommerce or retail media buying.
  • Amazon Ads, DV360, Meta Blueprint, or similar platform certifications.
  • Strong understanding of commerce media platforms and digital KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate digital strategy and performance to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools like Amazon DSP, CitrusAd, Criteo Retail Media, or similar.
  • English: fluent
  • German: fluent or business proficient
