MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is the European branch of Hyundai MOBIS, a worldwide leading supplier of genuine parts and accessories in the field of automotive. Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.
University bachelor/master’s degree in business administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
Working experience in the automotive industry, customs management and compliance is preferred
In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import/export laws, and compliance requirements regarding automotive products in a complex supply chain
Ability to analyse and interpret complex regulations and ensure compliance
Proficient in generating detailed reports
Full IT literacy (MS Office, especially strong Excel Skills)
Fluent in Business English (written and spoken). Additional language skill is a plus. (Korean, German)
Having excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively and solid understanding in a sophisticated and multi-cultural organization
Oversee the European customs clearance process for automotive import activities
Manage and coordinate tax remission and repayment processes for imported goods
Support branches to maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs/trade regulations and ensure that the company’s practices align with current laws and policies
Coordination with external and internal stakeholders in the EU area and HQ in South Korea to gather necessary information/ documentation for customs declarations and related processes
Monitor and report on the status of customs clearance activities, including process of EU- Korea FTA duty benefit and FTA Duty retroactive application
Implement and maintain customs declaration monitoring system for tracking customs-related data transactions
