ABOUT THIS ROLE
As Associate Corporate Counsel you will be a key member of Audible’s European and wider global legal teams. You will have a broad remit including business development, marketing, product, and regulatory counsel, and more. You will work on a variety of complicated and sophisticated transactions and will provide strategic and legal advice across a wide range of issues.
We are looking for candidates who are customer-obsessed, enjoy being challenged, work independently while being team players, and deliver pragmatic and practical advice in ambiguous situations.

As an Associate Corporate Counsel, you will...

1. Structure, draft, negotiate, and review a variety of complex commercial agreements
2. Provide legal counsel on product and service initiatives and launches
3. Lead Audible’s response to regulatory developments impacting our European operations, also in close alignment with colleagues from the global Audible legal as well as other Amazon legal teams
4. Maintain and develop standard contract forms, policies and processes
5. Instruct and manage external counsel

Minimum Requirements:
- German, UK, French, Italian, or Spanish qualified lawyer
- Training and 2+ years’ post-qualification experience with an international law firm or highly regarded in-house team
- Business fluency in written and spoken English and German
