Advisory & Financing Solutions (A&FS) is UniCredit's center of excellence for Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory, and Capital Markets transactions in top-level strategic dialogues. Sectors Advisory within A&FS follows an integrated industry and M&A origination and execution approach with in-depth knowledge of Telecommunication/Media/Technology, Industrials/Mobility, Consumer, Healthcare & Retail, as well as Natural Resources, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors for investment banking and corporate clients.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting company and market research
• Drafting marketing and pitch presentations
• Performing company valuations
• Preparing marketing materials for Capital market mandates (ECM/M&A, etc.)
• Supporting due diligence, dataroom management, and overall project management in M&A buy- and sell-side transactions
• Interacting and communicating with other advisors of our clients (e.g., legal, tax)
• Training junior colleagues

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of three years practical experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or equivalent (e.g., Big4 - M&A practice)
• Sector expertise with extensive knowledge of the sector, including trends, regulatory environment, and market dynamics
• Experience in Capital Markets and/or M&A sell-side projects, including drafting info memoranda, management presentations, due diligence preparation, and Q&A management
• Profound valuation expertise including comparable company and transaction analyses, as well as cash-flow based valuation methods (DCF, LBO)
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (operating and valuation models)
• Experience in preparing pitchbooks based on thorough company and market analyses
• Proficiency with standard office software and databases (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Mergermarket)
• Strong analytical skills and quick grasp of complex topics
• Excellent oral and written skills in German and English
• Team-oriented mindset with experience working in diverse teams
• Ability to assume responsibility and accountability
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client and project deadlines
