Qualifikationen

  • 3–5 years’ experience in data protection and compliance, preferably in tech settings.
  • Confident communicator, simplifying complex topics.
  • Independent and open to innovation.

  • Advise clients on data protection, using AI to deliver outcomes.
  • Educate clients on evolving compliance requirements and regulations.
  • Design and implement data protection policies and controls.

  • Youconductdataprotectionimpactassessmentsandriskassessments,usingautomationtoenhanceaccuracy,speed,andtransparencyforclients’processingactivities

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

  • Professional and customer-focused, with a collaborative and proactive mindset

  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act

  • 3–5 years’ hands-on experience advising on data protection and compliance, ideally in tech-enabled or AI-supported environments

  • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and explain AI-driven processes

  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E and/or CIPM preferred)

  • Legal (e.g. business law) or technical (e.g. IT, information security) academic background

  • Comfortable working with AI tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and compliance delivery

  • Independent, hands-on, and open to learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
