Jobbeschreibung

We offer an opportunity you simply won’t find anywhere else. In less than four years, Mileway has grown into Europe’s leader in last mile logistics real estate, with a 550-plus team across more than twenty offices in ten countries.

For our team based in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a talented Asset Manager (m/f/d) with extensive experience. You will be part of a young, dynamic team and collaborate with colleagues from around the world. While we build and strengthen our position as the market leader in last mile logistics together, you will report directly to our Regional Manager. As an Asset Manager, you will join an already established team, working together with four other Asset Managers to oversee a diverse portfolio in the Rhine-Main area.

You will be responsible for the asset management strategy as well as property and lease management. You will drive the management of our assets forward, while building key contacts and expanding our local and national relationships. This portfolio holds enormous value creation potential and great opportunities for your professional development if you bring the right mix of creativity and determination, along with the flexibility needed to thrive in a company with a start-up leadership culture.

As the ideal candidate, you bring not only the drive and discipline to handle day-to-day business, but also the ambition to grow with us and help us further develop as the number one in last mile real estate.

Working at Mileway:

We offer an opportunity you simply won’t find anywhere else. Launched in 2019, Mileway has rapidly grown into Europe’s leader in last-mile logistics real estate, with a team of over 550 across more than twenty offices in 11 countries. From the start, Mileway set out to be a different kind of real estate company, with a cloud-based IT infrastructure and a team that combines local expertise with the pooled strengths of a pan-European presence.

Our culture is fast-paced and highly international, with team members from more than 50 countries, bringing diverse perspectives and a “can-do” attitude to everything we do. While we have already achieved a lot, we’re only just getting started – our purpose is to be Europe’s leading provider of last mile logistics real estate, enabling businesses to thrive, driving sustainability forward, and shaping the cities of tomorrow. To get there, we live by our values: Drive, Trust, Grow, Together.

At Mileway, we believe company growth comes from supporting the growth of our capabilities. That’s why we offer an in-house learning & development program where personal, professional, and business development go hand in hand, helping you carve out your own career path. You’ll be based at our Frankfurt office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week. We provide a state-of-the-art technology package to keep you connected at all times.

What You Will Do:
  • Establish a sustainable asset management strategy for existing and future assets, based on successful lease management. Identify optimization opportunities for each property and develop diversified plans.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and translate the results into contracts. Handle rent adjustments and lease renewals.
  • Monitor risk criteria for each asset, identify warning signs, and inform management about potential issues.
  • Offer insights based on your market knowledge.
  • Conduct financial analyses and support team in preparing reports and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade our portfolio and improve asset management performance.
  • Manage leasing activities, renewals, rent adjustments, lease terminations, and related capital expenditures.
  • Incorporate renovation, refurbishment, and expansion measures into business plans, monitoring their development in collaboration with development and finance teams.
  • Prepare asset management reports.
  • Maintain direct contact with tenants to understand their business needs.
  • Build a regional and nationwide network of advisors and colleagues. Collaborate closely with accounting, external property managers, and law firms.
What You Bring:
  • At least three to five years of relevant experience in asset management, demonstrating value added and references in a dynamic environment.
  • Genuine interest in the real estate market and its growth and transformation, with the ability to identify valuable opportunities.
  • Strong team spirit, initiative, independence, and collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial expertise, and negotiation abilities, with proficiency in reviewing valuations and forecasts, and digitizing data.
  • Fluent in German and English, with confident negotiation skills.
