Amazon is hiring Associate Account Executives (AAE) to help businesses grow awareness and sales of their products using Amazon’s advertising offerings. This full-time role is ideal for an entry-level or early career candidate interested in launching a career at the intersection of advertising and sales, with a track record of achieving ambitious goals and strong analytical problem-solving skills, and who enjoys working with both well-known and emerging brands.

As an AAE, you will start with a 12-week sales training program alongside 5-10 peers, where you will learn about the digital advertising industry, become an expert in Amazon’s advertising products, and understand how these products help brands grow their businesses. You will develop skills in building business relationships, exceeding customer expectations, educating advertisers on digital growth strategies, and honing presentation and negotiation skills. You will receive training and coaching to prepare you to independently manage advertiser relationships and a book of business after training.

The AAE program offers an opportunity to accelerate your career development in advertising, marketing, and sales within one of Amazon’s fastest-growing businesses. We are recruiting AAEs for an April 1st, 2025 start date.

Ideal candidates are fast learners, excellent presenters, strong communicators, effective listeners, and project managers capable of balancing multiple priorities. Candidates should be comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and negotiating via phone and in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strive to delight our customers and make their lives easier.
  2. Educate customers on Amazon’s advertising solutions.
  3. Use a consultative approach to optimize customers’ advertising campaigns through sales data and Amazon insights.
  4. Achieve weekly sales activity goals.
  5. Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities.

Post-program responsibilities:

  1. Retain and grow revenue from your existing advertisers.
  2. Close new business deals.
  3. Achieve quota targets and forecast advertising revenue accurately.
  4. Support and provide feedback to future AAE classes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of B2B or B2C sales experience, including internships.
  • German native speaker or business fluent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with online productivity tools such as Office 365, Salesforce, or similar software.
