Purpose of job

  • As the PR and Communications Manager, you will help drive STB Frankfurt’s integrated communications plans and marketing initiatives to maximize destination awareness in the DACH region, aiming to achieve visitor arrivals and tourism receipts targets. This includes public relations, media initiatives, brand and media partnerships, and other consumer outreach programs aligned with STB’s overall marketing strategies.
  • As the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager, you will support STB Germany's digital marketing and communications plans to ensure maximum destination awareness in the DACH region, contributing to visitor and revenue targets. Your responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies across various touchpoints, such as earned media, brand partnerships, and consumer outreach activities aligned with STB’s marketing goals.
  • Creating a compelling narrative to promote Singapore, showcasing it in a refreshed and relevant manner to media and target audiences.
  • Developing a dynamic digital and social media strategy to maintain an always-on presence on key platforms, integrating Singapore into social conversations, and executing annual creative campaigns and brand partnerships to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborating with a PR and marketing agency to deliver these outcomes.
  • Working with various internal teams at STB HQ in Singapore and the STB Europe office to coordinate and implement plans.

Key responsibilities include (not exhaustive):

  • Planning and executing year-round digital/social media strategies and annual campaigns.
  • Managing social media integration and content amplification with agency support, with experience in platforms like Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Organizing content creator and broadcasting trips to Singapore.
  • Developing and executing earned media strategies, including media materials, pitches, and engagement events.
  • Building and maintaining good media relations to generate interest in Singapore.
  • Identifying and managing brand partnerships to support media efforts and amplify campaigns.
  • Managing influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) programs, including vetting and engagement.
  • Advising internal and external stakeholders on digital and traditional media strategies.
  • Managing an annual budget for digital and marketing campaigns.
  • Staying updated on media landscape, tourism, and consumer market trends to adapt initiatives accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PR, marketing, or digital marketing agency roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital and media landscape in the DACH region.
  • Good understanding of the consumer market in DACH.
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative concepts.
  • Experience in online community management and influencer development.
  • Resourceful, independent, and capable of delivering quality work with limited supervision.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, written, and spoken communication skills in English and German.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and partners.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
