We are recruiting an Assistant for our Japanese Corporate Banking Division in Munich on a fixed-term contract for two years.

The role includes:

1. Supporting banking transactions (e.g., Account Opening, Loan, Deposit, Settlement, FX, Trade Finance, CMS) for customers in Munich/Stuttgart.
2. Handling administrative tasks related to banking transactions (e.g., Loan Contracts, FX documentation).
3. Customer communication regarding regulations and compliance (e.g., KYC procedures).
4. Internal communication within the bank and with MUFG Group departments.
5. Reporting to relevant departments.
6. General affairs support (office supplies, facility management, post services).

Requirements for success:

• Experience in finance or apprenticeship as a bank clerk preferred; applications from other commercial sectors with relevant banking or finance experience or university degrees are welcome.
• Proficiency in German and English; Japanese skills are a plus.
• Confident MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Excellent teamwork and professionalism.
