BioNTech SE is seeking a skilled Clinical Trial Insurance Assistant for a full-time position based in Mainz. This role involves providing administrative support Clinical Operations and Global Insurance

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of insurance coverage for global clinical trials
  • Coordinate and track the issuance of insurance certificates and policy documentation
  • Collect, verify, and maintain insurance-related data and documentation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Clinical Operations, Legal) and external partners to gather required information
  • Assist with the review and processing of insurance invoices, ensuring timely payment and proper documentation
  • Maintain internal records and tracking systems to ensure transparency and audit readiness
  • Support the preparation of reports and overviews for management and internal departments
Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training e.g., in insurance, administration, or healthcare or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience as administrative assistant in an international corporate environment, preferentially: experience in an administrative or insurance-related role in healthcare sector
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Team player with a service-oriented mindset and willingness to learnProficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is required
