The Dupont MOLYKOTE business provides high-performance specialty lubricants enabling engineered solutions for the most demanding applications and environments, with focus in advanced markets including industrial and transportation. MOLYKOTE Specialty Lubricants Brand includes broad range of lubricants technology like Greases, Pastes, Oils and Anti-Friction Coatings. We are looking for a Technical Service & Development Specialist to join the MOLYKOTE Specialty Lubricants team in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Technical Service & Development Specialist will be closely working with channel partners and industrial customers and be responsible for Application development and new product technology implementation into the market. The person will be focusing on Industrial applications which includes high growing market segments like Renewable Energy, Hydrogen, Oil & Gas. The main responsibilities require technical collaboration with the channel partners and customers, understanding their needs and translating into innovative product solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Technical support for distributors. Building their technical capabilities and delivering technical trainings based on their needs.
• Lead new application development with existing and new product technologies. Identify, validate and support growth opportunities at the customers in close cooperation with the Sales team and Channel partners.
• Design test plans; generate technical data using internal and external lab capabilities; interpret it into customer’s values.
• Bring voice of the customers to identify new trends in the industry for innovative sustainable solutions and translate it into new projects.
• Exploration of targeted industrial customers in EMEA region based on innovation and business strategies.
• In collaboration with other functions support new product development projects by driving the validation of new technologies in the market. Accelerate new product launches with external validation.
• Collaborate with global teams to share and transfer application and product successes in prioritized segments.
• Represent MOLYKOTE technologies at Industry Conferences including stand duties, paper talks and publications.
• Prepare / contribute to creation of product literature, sales tools and case stories.
• Be Safety Champion in all areas. Demonstrate and promote Safety behavior during daily work.

Qualification:

• Science degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, knowledge of Tribology and Lubrication is a plus.
• Tracked experience in working with the customers providing technical support and / or application development.
• English and German languages, another European language is a plus.
