TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Asset Specialist Offshore cable (m/f/d) at our location Lehrte (Hannover) who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your profile and background

1. This position requires a university degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, offshore engineering or comparable technical qualification.
2. Knowledge and experience of offshore cable installation and burial; knowledge of German offshore regulations is an advantage.
3. Ability to find an optimal solution taking both the technical and economic factors into account.
4. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various diverse project teams and internal/external partners/stakeholders.
5. Very good written and spoken German and English communication skills.
6. Willingness to travel on business and a Class B driving license is required.

Your contribution to TenneT

1. You are responsible for the creation, review and evaluation of technical specifications, guidelines and concepts.
2. You manage and support the research and development projects in the field of cable installation with the purpose of optimizing TenneT’s offshore assets.
3. You take over the support on the preparation of tender documents and specifications for cable projects as well as in negotiations.
4. You are the contact person for technical questions during construction, operation and maintenance phases for offshore cables.
5. You actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors.

Additional information

As of Juni 2025, the weekly working time is 37 hours. The position is unlimited. Salary: 83,300 € - 104,400 €.
