Make an impact: Multiple positions available. We are seeking engaged and driven individuals for the role of Asset Manager, responsible for generating and developing service strategies to exceed customer expectations. This role is crucial in developing asset management and reliability engineering at Swisslog by translating customer assets and operational performance into actionable service strategies. You will provide internal and external customer-facing management consultancy to support our total solution for the Life Cycle Service proposition. As part of a global team of Asset Managers within our Customer Service Excellence function, you will focus on specific Swisslog product families such as:

  • Pallet technologies (conveyors, storage cranes, shuttles, satellites)
  • Light goods products (conveyors, storage cranes, shuttles)
  • Controls (automated warehouse assets)
  • Software and IT (warehouse management software)

This newly established function at Swisslog offers the opportunity to shape the future and character of the role. The location is flexible across main Swisslog locations, with a willingness to travel to customer sites and participate in global meetings and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support Regional Customer Service departments in developing and delivering the Swisslog Asset Management Service strategy.
  2. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure PLM strategies translate into actionable activities for the global Customer Service organization.
  3. Develop lifecycle plans for the installed base, enabling proactive evaluation of investment needs to maintain system performance and maintainability.
  4. Provide feedback to Development and Technology Teams to enhance product development for better asset performance and maintainability.
  5. Set standards for service activities and develop initiatives to improve global practices in planning, design, implementation, and review of asset management activities.
  6. Utilize knowledge of maintenance strategies to configure service solutions tailored to customer needs.
  7. Define, develop, and implement service propositions based on asset management principles.
  8. Support the Service Development Department in designing new service concepts, incorporating enabling technologies.
  9. Standardize service offerings and delivery across the business, aligning with global best practices for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving asset management systems.
