Jobtailor in Germany is seeking a software engineer to design, code, and test applications under senior guidance. You will debug issues, support development and testing, and translate defined requirements into technical solutions for mainframe environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-4 years of coding experience in Mainframe Assembler or TPF is required.
• Experience with Mainframe Assembler Programming.
• Exposure to mainframe assembler development concepts.
• Familiarity with DB2/files concepts and technical problem solving.
• Ability to work within defined coding standards, development guidelines, and security or quality expectations.
• Willingness to learn ACP/CCS business and system knowledge relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Debugging experience.
• Java and Python knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile is an advantage.
• JCL and COBOL knowledge are added advantages.
• DB2 knowledge is a plus.
