Job summary

Bosch Sensortec GmbH in Munich's development center is seeking a Digital Design Expert to lead digital design for the next generation of mixed‑signal and SoC ASICs powering MEMS sensors.

You will shape digital module concepts, optimize area and power, ensure robust control/datapath implementations, and support validation and product characterization in an international, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in IC digital design.
• Deep understanding of VHDL and/or Verilog HDL.
• Strong expertise with state-of-the-art digital design EDA tools.
• Experience in digital data processing and low-power design techniques.
• Knowledge of place-and-route toolchain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape the digital design of advanced Mixed-Signal and SoC ASICs.
• Define digital module concepts, derive requirements, and integrate mixed-signal architecture.
• Design digital circuits with a focus on area and power optimization.
• Ensure robust design of digital circuits in control and datapath structures.

In our Munich development center, we design the next generation of ASICs driving leading-edge consumer applications worldwide. As part of our team, you will be at the heart of innovation, shaping the technology of tomorrow.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Design Expert to take responsibility for the digital design of our advanced Mixed-Signal and System-on-Chip (SoC) ASICs.

• Help shape the future: You will work on leading edge development projects for MEMS consumer sensor integrated circuits
• Use your creativity and freedom: You will work on digital module-level concept definition, requirement derivation, mixed-signal architectural integration
• Integrated implementation: You design digital circuits with a focus on optimization regarding area and power
• Reliable implementation: You will be responsible for the robust design of digital circuits in control and datapath structures
• Structured evaluation: You support the product characterization and validation

Qualifications

• Personality: You possess a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine willingness to collaborate within international and interdisciplinary teams
• Working Practice: You are an effective team player with a focused, methodical, and highly independent working style; quality-oriented working style
• Experience & Expertise: At least 5 years of professional experience in IC digital design and preferably experience in data signal processing and/or microcontroller subsystems; deep understanding of VHDL and/ or Verilog hardware description languages, strong expertise with state-of-the-art digital design EDA tools is required, experience in digital data processing and low-power design techniques; knowledge of place-and-route toolchain is a plus
• Languages: Proficient English is mandatory; advanced German language skills are beneficial
• Education: A degree (Diploma/M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
