As an Analog Design Engineer (m / f / diverse), you specify, design, and implement functional circuit blocks to meet ASIC specifications. You will have the opportunity to work on Continental's diverse automotive applications and develop optimized solutions tailored to their needs. During design, careful attention must be paid to meet stringent automotive requirements. Support for circuit layout is also desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Participation in feasibility studies for ASIC module functions and specification definition
2. Defining ASIC module functions and requirements based on system-level requirements
3. Design simulation and testing of analog and mixed-signal circuits
4. Design validation and verification
5. Development and documentation of test concepts and procedures
6. Modeling of analog functionality in high-level description languages (SystemVerilog, VerilogAMS) based on requirements
7. Collaboration with digital design, layout verification, testing, and application teams
8. Collaboration with analog designers worldwide
9. Coordination with external design houses and foundry partners

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate (m / f / d) will possess:

1. A Master of Science / PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or similar
2. Expertise in simulation and testing of analog and mixed-signal circuits using state-of-the-art ASIC design tools (Cadence)
3. Knowledge of analog circuit layout is a plus
4. Experience in designing for automotive applications and high-volume production processes
5. Experience in analyzing and evaluating integrated circuits in a lab environment
6. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, testing, and failure analysis
7. Planning, organizing, initiative, and effective communication skills
8. Strong English skills (written and spoken); German skills are a plus
9. Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment
