AI Futures have been exclusively retained to find an AI Engineer for a fast-scaling, VC-backed industrial tech company in Aachen, partnered with major players across the manufacturing sector. With strong funding and a clear growth roadmap, this is a rare opportunity to build upon an AI systems in a product-led, innovation-focused environment.

The company is investing deeply in applied AI to optimise video intelligence, automate internal processes, and enhance digital tooling. You’ll be hands-on with everything from ML model development to cloud deployment—driving real product impact from day one.

2 days per week onsite in Aachen

Up to €120k fixed salary

The Role

• Build and deploy ML models focused on visual data, automation, and internal tool optimisation
• Develop pipelines for tasks like object detection, content tagging, and video segmentation
• Integrate AI functionality into product workflows using cloud-native infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver AI-driven solutions
• Apply low-code / no-code tools where appropriate to accelerate delivery

The Candidate

• 2+ years of experience as an AI or Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong Python and ML algorithm experience, ideally with video or unstructured data
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• German-speaking (Professional Level)
• Bonus : experience in visual ML, media analysis, or internal AI tools
