About the Team

The EMEA sales team is growing, and this role will play a key part in shaping the company's success in the region. As an Area Sales Manager, you will focus on generating demand, increasing adoption, and ensuring customer success. Your expertise will help drive repeat sales and support businesses in deploying robotic solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for collaborative robot (cobot) applications among end users.
  • Develop, maintain, and foster strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Organize and lead customer visits, product demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Ensure a high repeat sales rate by supporting customers with successful deployments.
  • Handle and respond to customer inquiries and incoming leads.
  • Work with the Regional Head and Marketing Team to create effective lead-generation strategies.
  • Plan and execute events, conferences, and exhibitions to educate the market and generate leads.
  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to increase brand awareness.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Background in system integration or industrial automation.
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting and selling integrated robotic solutions to manufacturing clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation equipment and systems.
  • Native-level German skills are required, plus advanced English proficiency.
  • Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of local business culture.
  • Creative and proactive in lead generation and market awareness.
  • A mix of hunter (new business development) and farmer (account management) mindset.
  • Business acumen with solid sales development skills.
  • Goal-oriented and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
