Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in Fluid and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently.
  • Travel frequently within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors; develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and inform sales strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints or technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently residing in the Czech Republic.
  • Completed technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical roles, sales engineering, or field service.
  • Proficiency in English and Czech (spoken and written); German is a plus.
  • Self-organized, independent, results-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, and a valid Class B driver’s license.
