Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in the field of Fluid and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits in the field.
  • Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, and develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Reside in the Czech Republic.
  • Completed technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a sales engineer, application engineer, or in similar roles involving field service and independent work.
  • Fluent in English and Czech (written and spoken); German is a plus.
  • Self-organized, independent, results-oriented, and people-oriented.
  • Willing to travel, flexible, with a valid Class B driver's license.
