Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in the field of Fluid- and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will independently travel within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers to sell products and services.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits in the field.
  • Travel extensively within your region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, and develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints or technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers for seamless operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.
  • Currently reside in the Czech Republic.
  • Preferably hold a technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • Have 3-5 years of experience as a technical employee, sales engineer, or in similar roles involving field service and independent work.
  • Possess excellent English and Czech language skills (both written and spoken).
  • Fluent German is a plus.
  • Be self-organized, independent, and results-oriented.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willing to travel, flexible, with a valid Class B driver's license.
