Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in the field of Fluid- and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will independently travel within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones in your sales territory, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers to sell products and services successfully.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently.
  • Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competition; develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers for seamless operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Currently residing in the Czech Republic.
  • Completed technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a technical employee, sales engineer, or in similar roles involving field service and independent work.
  • Excellent command of English and Czech (written and spoken).
  • Fluent German is an advantage.
  • Self-organized, independent, and results-oriented working style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, and a valid Class B driver's license.
