Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in the field of Fluid and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will independently travel within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones in your sales territory to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations and training sessions; negotiate with customers to sell products and services successfully.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently.
  • Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competition; develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints or technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers to facilitate business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.
  • Reside currently in the Czech Republic.
  • Possess a technical degree, further training as a technician, or a comparable qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • Have 3-5 years of professional experience as a technical employee, sales engineer, application engineer, or similar roles involving field service and independent work.
  • Be fluent in English and Czech (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
  • Be self-organized, independent, results-oriented, and enjoy working with people.
  • Willing to travel, flexible, and hold a valid Class B driver's license.
