Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in the field of Fluid and Drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will independently travel within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers in your sales territory to meet sales targets.
  • Conducting sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiating with customers to sell products and services successfully.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing customer visits independently in the field.
  • High regional travel activity within the area, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitoring market trends and competition, and developing your sales territory strategically.
  • Creating weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for customer complaints or technical support projects.
  • Ensuring smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Collaborating closely with internal departments and the sales team.
  • You are currently residing in the Czech Republic.
  • Preferably hold a technical degree, further training as a technician, or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a technical employee, sales engineer, application engineer, or similar roles involving field service and independent work.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Czech.
  • Fluent German is an advantage.
  • Self-organized, independent, and results-oriented working style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, and a valid Class B driver's license.
