Job Description

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in fluid and drive technology, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic, responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining existing customers, and expanding your customer base strategically.

Responsibilities
  1. Acquire new customers and support existing ones to meet sales targets.
  2. Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently.
  4. Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  5. Monitor market trends and competition; develop sales strategies.
  6. Create weekly reports to document results and develop strategies.
  7. Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and technical support.
  8. Coordinate communication between Italy, Germany, and customers.
  9. Collaborate closely with internal departments and sales teams.
Qualifications
  • Reside in the Czech Republic.
  • Completed technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, field service, or similar roles.
  • Proficient in English and Czech (written and spoken); German is a plus.
  • Self-organized, independent, results-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willing to travel, flexible, with a valid Class B driver's license.
