Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in fluid and drive technology, we are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic and be responsible for achieving sales targets in your area. You will maintain the existing customer base and strategically expand it.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones in your sales territory, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Conduct sales presentations and training, negotiate with customers to sell products and services.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits independently in the field.
  • Travel extensively within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, develop your sales territory strategically.
  • Create weekly reports to document results and develop sales strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints or technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers for seamless business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Currently residing in the Czech Republic.
  • Preferably a technical degree or similar qualification (e.g., industrial or mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical roles, sales engineering, application engineering, or field service.
  • Excellent English and Czech language skills (written and spoken).
  • Fluent German is a plus.
  • Self-organized, independent, results-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexible, with a valid Class B driver's license.
