Overview

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in Fluid- and Drive technology, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components in the Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

1. Travel independently within the Czech Republic to achieve sales targets, maintain existing customers, and expand the customer base.
2. Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers to sell products and services.
3. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits in the field.
4. Travel extensively within the region, typically without overnight stays.
5. Monitor market trends and competition; develop sales strategies accordingly.
6. Create weekly reports to document results and inform sales strategies.
7. Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and technical support.
8. Coordinate communication between Italy, Germany, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
9. Collaborate closely with internal departments and the sales team.

Qualifications

• Reside in the Czech Republic.
• Completed technical degree or similar qualification (industrial/mechanical engineering, etc.).
• 3-5 years of experience in technical roles, sales engineering, or field service.
• Proficiency in English and Czech (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Self-organized, independent, results-oriented, and personable.
• Willingness to travel, flexibility, and valid Class B driver's license.
