Job Description:

For our client, an Italian manufacturing company and market leader in fluid and drive technology, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager (all genders) - Mechanical + Hydraulic components (all genders) in the Czech Republic.

You will travel independently within the Czech Republic, responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining existing customers, and expanding your customer base strategically.

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations, training sessions, and negotiate with customers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer visits in the field.
  • Travel frequently within the region, usually without overnight stays.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, and develop sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare weekly reports to track results and inform strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and technical support.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Italy, Germany, and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and sales team.

Requirements:

  • Currently residing in the Czech Republic.
  • Completed technical degree or similar qualification (industrial/mechanical engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical roles, sales engineering, or field service.
  • Excellent English and Czech language skills; German is a plus.
  • Self-organized, independent, and results-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, and a valid Class B driver’s license.
