Our client is a successful and fast-growing industrial company headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany. With nearly 1,000 employees worldwide, the company offers an innovative, future-oriented, and dynamic work environment.

To further strengthen the sales team in Italy, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m / f / d) to join as soon as possible.

Tasks

  1. Drive sales of high-precision measurement and testing systems to customers in Italy.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships – from initial contact to deal closure.
  3. Manage the entire sales process independently, from prospecting to contract negotiation and successful completion.
  4. Analyse market potential and implement targeted sales strategies to expand business opportunities.
  5. Provide professional leadership and guidance to Sales Engineers, ensuring successful market development.

Requirements

  1. Strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., Master Craftsman, Technician, or Bachelor’s degree).
  2. 3–5 years of experience in a technical or sales-related position, ideally in an international setting.
  3. Proficiency in customer consulting, proposal preparation, and CRM systems, along with MS Office skills.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a strong customer focus and service mindset.
  5. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to achieve success in a dynamic sales environment.
  6. Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); German is a plus but not required.
  7. Willingness to travel within Italy.
