Our client is active in the advance technology equipment markets. We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to manage the DACH region (Home office based, any location within Germany / Austria).

Responsibilities

  • As part of the EMEIA Sales Management team you will be supporting the development of strategy for not only your regional territory but also for the whole DACH area.
  • You will develop and maintain the sales budget for the whole area including goal setting for your team
  • Drive growth in sales, whilst maintaining GP levels in-line with corporate goals.
  • Leadership and management of the DACH Sales Team, including staff performance reviews.
  • Frequent contact and reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, EMEIA.
  • Build, nurture and maintain positive internal and external relationships within region and in area.
  • Provide market feedback and participate in corporate marketing efforts.
  • CRM - Maintain, update and review for Territory all open opportunities.

Requirements

  • Fluent German and English is a must
  • Previous experience managing a Sales team is a must
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with global CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel (averaging 2-3 days in the DACH region per week) across Germany and internationally to various offices and key customers
