As a partner company of Huisong Pharmaceuticals, Anklam Extrakt specializes in the production and distribution of high-quality plant extracts. We have a modern production facility located in the Hanseatic city of Anklam, the gateway to the island of Usedom, just two hours north of Berlin. Our customers are found worldwide in the B2B pharmaceutical sector, as well as in the dietary supplement and food industries. A highly dedicated team of 60 employees works at the Anklam plant and in the sales office in Nuremberg, contributing to our success.

About The Job

Job Summary:

We at Anklam Extrakt are looking for a motivated, passionate and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our global team! The main task of this position is to achieve sales targets in Asia and the USA.

Job Description

1. Developing a sales strategy for our target market in Asia and the USA and preparing the corresponding sales budget.
2. Building and maintaining successful and long-term business relationships with our key customers.
3. Establishing business relationships with potential new customers.
4. Acting as a central interface between customers, the internal sales team, and production.
5. Representing our company at national and international trade fairs.
6. Finding out about the latest market trends and knowing our competitors.
7. Advising our customers and partners.
8. Developing new projects with customers and market opportunities.

Qualifications And Skills

1. Successfully completed commercial education or a degree in business studies or natural sciences.
2. Several years of experience in sales.
3. Ability to present the company.
4. Ability to plan and complete the sales process.
5. Negotiation and presentation skills.
6. Business fluent verbal and written communication skills in German and English (knowledge of French and Italian is an advantage).
7. Willingness to travel.

Education And Experience Requirements

1. 2+ years of experience in sales and marketing.
2. 2+ years of industry experience in the dietary supplement, food, and/or pharmaceutical industry.
