A world-leading manufacturer of rotating equipment and mechanical components for various industrial sectors, including pulp and paper, chemical, oil & gas, food and beverage, mining, process, defence, power, and pharmaceutical. Established for many years, the company operates globally with sites in over 100 countries, manufacturing products, systems, and solutions that improve pump efficiency, reliability, and reduce maintenance costs.
Due to growth, the company seeks to expand its German sales team in three key regions: East Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Northwest Germany (Hamburg area). This role offers a home-based setup, with regular customer visits across the region.
Reporting to the German Sales Manager, the successful candidate will manage existing clients and develop new business, focusing 60% on strategic key account management and 40% on new business activities. The client base spans various industrial environments, requiring technical solution selling skills. A mechanical engineering background, either through apprenticeship or degree, is essential, along with knowledge of rotating equipment, mechanical seals, and related components.
The position involves regular visits and reporting sales activities monthly. Support will be provided by internal sales engineers. Candidates should possess strong account management and business development skills, with a mechanical engineering mindset. The role offers a realistic earning potential of up to €120,000.
