A world-leading manufacturer of rotating equipment and mechanical components for various industrial sectors, including pulp and paper, chemical, oil & gas, food and beverage, mining, process, defence, power, and pharmaceutical, is seeking to expand its German sales team.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business activities within East Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Northwest Germany. This home-based role involves 60% strategic key account management and 40% new business development, with regular customer visits across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  2. Engage in technical solution selling within various industrial environments.
  3. Report sales activities and quotations monthly.
  4. Collaborate with internal sales engineers for technical support.
  5. Maintain and grow relationships with clients in sectors such as paper and pulp, chemical processing, food and beverage, mining, power, nuclear, oil and gas, chemicals, hydrogen, and pharmaceuticals.
Candidate Profile
  • External sales experience in sectors related to mechanical seals, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, motors, etc.
  • Mechanical engineering background or qualification (apprenticeship or degree).
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical seals is highly beneficial.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Proven B2B sales track record.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Product training will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: €80,000 - €100,000 (negotiable based on experience).
  • Home office setup, company car, pension, laptop, mobile phone, credit card, and bonus on target earnings up to €120,000.
  • Flexible location within East Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, or Northwest Germany.
