A world-leading manufacturer of rotating equipment and mechanical components serving diverse industrial sectors including pulp and paper, chemical, oil & gas, food and beverage, mining, process, defense, power, and pharmaceutical. Established for many years, with a global presence in over 100 countries, they produce products, systems, and solutions to enhance pump efficiency, reliability, and reduce maintenance costs.
Due to growth, they are expanding their German sales team in three key regions: East Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Northwest Germany (Hamburg area).
You will join a successful German sales team, working with established clients. The company is renowned worldwide for innovation, reliability, and service excellence in rotating equipment components, helping customers minimize downtime and optimize processes. Your role involves managing business activities within your designated region, focusing 60% on strategic key account management and 40% on new business development. The client base spans various industrial and manufacturing environments, requiring technical solution selling skills.
Requirements include a mechanical engineering aptitude or qualification (apprenticeship or degree), with knowledge of rotating equipment, mechanical seals, gaskets, and bearing protection being highly beneficial. Fluency in German and good English are essential.
This is a home-based role requiring regular customer visits, with an estimated one day working from home and four days on-site. You will report sales activities monthly, supported by internal sales engineers for technical backup. The role suits candidates with strong account management, business development skills, and a mechanical engineering background.
