We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager for the Southwest German Region (m / f / d)
Location : Ideally you are currently located in the "Postal Code 7" to ensure proximity to the customer Base, and will work remotely from Home Office
Key Responsibilities :
- Report to the Snr Dir Sales Central Europe
- Responsible for Vishay Semiconductors and passive components, both for the automotive and industrial market segments and with a focus on the Baden-Württemberg Area.
- Monitor the market by focusing on specific customers or promoting individual products or product innovations with the aim of maintaining or improving customer relationships and acquiring new customers to increase sales
- Responsibility for direct customers, local distributors and indirect (POS) customers
- Support the sales organizations of our distributors in the assigned sales territory
- Plan annual budget and monitor its developments with monthly forecast and by initiating corrective measures, if required. Development of TAM / SAM data
- Prepare offers based on customer needs in coordination with product marketing. Coordinate, conduct price negotiations and conclude framework agreements
- Work in closed cooperation with customer service
Your profile :
- Ideally you hold a technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
- You bring a previous relevant Experience in semiconductor and / or passive component technology, for example as Field Application Engineer, Account Sales or (technical) Product Marketing or internal sales (if you are interested in moving into a customer-facing role)
- You enjoy presenting and negotiating
- Curious Mindset, independent working , and proactive attitude are attributes you can identify with
- Proficiency with MS Office is expected, esp. Excel and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge is helpful
- Excellent German and English are required, other language skills as a plus
- Willingness to travel in Germany ( we expect 2-3 daily trips weekly) and occasionally in Europe
- Valid Driving Licence
