A leading manufacturer of rotating equipment is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Germany. This home-based role involves managing key accounts and developing new business across various industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should possess a mechanical engineering background, strong sales skills, and fluency in German.
A world-leading manufacturer of rotating equipment and mechanical components for various industrial sectors, including pulp and paper, chemical, oil & gas, food and beverage, mining, process, defense, power, and pharmaceuticals, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Germany. This role offers a basic salary of €80,000 - €100,000 (negotiable based on experience), plus benefits such as a company car, pension, laptop, mobile phone, credit card, and a bonus on target earnings of €120,000. The position is home-based, with regional travel within Bavaria and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will join a reputable German sales team, managing existing clients and developing new business in the region. The role involves 60% strategic key account management and 40% new business development across diverse industrial environments. A mechanical engineering background, knowledge of rotating equipment, and strong sales skills are essential. Fluency in German and good English are required.
This is a technical solution sales position, requiring a proactive, articulate, and dynamic salesperson with a strong mechanical engineering aptitude or qualification, such as an apprenticeship or degree. Extensive product training will be provided. The candidate will report to the German Sales Manager and will be supported by internal sales engineers.
Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, developing new accounts, and achieving sales targets. The role requires regular regional visits, reporting sales activities monthly, and leveraging technical knowledge to support customers effectively.
