A renowned wine producer is seeking a German and Austrian Sales Area Manager to develop strategic brand presence in the market. This role demands proven sales expertise in the wine and spirits industry, coupled with strong communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and English, and creativity is essential for this home office position based in major German cities. Frequent travel within the business area is required.
Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. manages three classified growths in the Pauillac appellation, including the illustrious Château Mouton Rothschild. It also produces and sells a range of high-quality branded wines which it sources from various partner winegrowers then blends, matures and bottles itself, foremost among them the famous Mouton Cadet. It has two distinct lines of business, the Estates and branded wines, united under a single management in the same pursuit of excellence.
The position: German and Austrian Sales Area Manager, based in Germany and reporting to the Export Area Director Eastern Europe - Africa – Middle East – Global Travel Retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
You will overview the development of Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s strategic brands (Mouton Cadet, Escudo Rojo, Mapu) together with our distribution partners in the markets.
The mission also includes analyzing our brand performance versus the market performance and gathering market and competitive intelligence.
The position is a home office position which can be based in Munich, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt An Main or Hamburg in agreement with the successful candidate.
