• Lead safety initiatives within maintenance teams to ensure an accident-free, safe, and productive workforce.
• Manage daily and long-term planning and work execution goals in collaboration with operating personnel to meet business targets.
• Drive the team’s efforts to implement best practices in precision maintenance and improve equipment reliability and performance.

Performance Objectives

• Achieve all budgetary targets for production rates, including monthly budgets and equipment reliability improvements.
• Ensure productivity through detailed planning and organization of daily tasks and outages.
• Manage a diverse, skilled workforce in a team-oriented environment to fulfill organizational needs.
• Address equipment failures or performance issues affecting quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Entry Requirements

• Strong safety leadership skills
• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance
• At least 3 years in supervision, shutdown planning, or engineering roles
• Experience with pulp and paper mills, high-speed rotating equipment (recovery boilers, multi-fuel boilers, related equipment)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for rotating and process equipment
