  4. Achieve assigned growth targets.
  5. Create quarterly sales plans based on customer needs.
  6. Complete validation documentation and forms.
  7. Provide clinical and product training to hospital staff and prospects, including formal in-service support.
  8. Manage validation, training, sales processes, technical service, maintenance, and installation of devices.
  9. Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability per account.
  10. Offer scheduled and on-demand support on equipment operation, troubleshooting, patient selection, and clinical best practices.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and strategic partners.
  12. Develop and execute plans to expand business within the territory, adhering to guidelines and metrics.
  13. Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and clinical literature; document activities and customer insights in CRM.
  14. Provide feedback to Product Development for product improvements and new development ideas.
  15. Participate in ongoing clinical and business education activities.
  16. Represent Vapotherm at healthcare conferences and symposiums.
  17. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and clinical research related to Vapotherm and competing technologies.
  18. Attend medical meetings as needed.
Position Requirements:
  • Preferably with a clinical background or at least three years of experience in clinical education or sales within respiratory or critical care.
  • Hospital environment education experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Current knowledge of respiratory therapies.
  • Proven success in influencing clinical use of products, especially with innovative technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group presentations.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of building sustainable relationships with physicians, hospital leadership, and healthcare professionals.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car for field activities.
  • Residency within the regional geography.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online applications.

This full-time role involves approximately 70% fieldwork, nationwide travel, and flexibility to support customer activities, including product demonstrations and device validations. The role requires sitting, standing, traveling, operating a vehicle, and occasional lifting up to 11 kilos.
