Jobbeschreibung

At Vapotherm, patients and the clinicians that treat them are our total focus. The Area Clinical Sales Manager (ACSM) is primarily responsible for leading the equipment validation process for prospective customers and supporting the expansion of Vapotherm technology use across various care areas in existing customer facilities through education and training.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead validation processes within prospective accounts in acute care hospitals (NICU, PICU, AICU, ED) and post-acute care settings.
  2. Promote Vapotherm products and therapies through clinical education and support to clinicians in existing and prospective accounts.
  3. Develop sales strategies and quarterly plans tailored to customer needs.
  4. Provide clinical training, support, and expertise to hospital staff and end-users.
  5. Manage validation, training, sales, technical support, and device installation responsibilities.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders.
  7. Achieve sales growth targets and expand business within the territory.
  8. Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and clinical literature relevant to Vapotherm.
  9. Participate in clinical and industry events, conferences, and symposiums.
  10. Report activities and insights using Vapotherm’s CRM system.
  11. Provide feedback to product development teams for product improvements and innovations.
Position Requirements:
  1. Clinical background or minimum three years in a sales or clinical education role in respiratory or critical care.
  2. Knowledge of respiratory therapies and success influencing clinical product use.
  3. Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  4. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50-65% within Germany.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and online applications.
  6. Intermediate English fluency (B1/B2).
  7. Ability to work from a home-office and adapt to a flexible schedule.
  8. Demonstrated passion for healthcare, innovation, and patient care.
  9. Team-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  10. Cultural sensitivity, trust-building, and adaptability.

This is a full-time role with significant fieldwork and nationwide travel, including support for customer activities and device demonstrations. The employee must be able to sit, stand, travel, and operate necessary equipment for extended periods.
